CMYK print PDF, proof PDF, dieline files (AI / DXF / SVG / CF2), imposition and a handoff package.

Send to print shop

In Export → Send to print shop:

1. CMYK print PDF — a PDF/X-4 print file: CMYK by the board’s colour profile, ink limit, trapping, cut and fold lines on their own plates.
2. Proof PDF — true size, with a job ticket, for approval.
3. CMYK TIFF — for inkjet shops and RIPs that take only images.
4. Handoff package — one ZIP with the print PDF, dielines, mockup pictures and the job sheet.

Production

Dieline SVG / DXF / AI / PDF / CF2 for the die maker (CF2 for die-cutting machines). Sheet imposition lays many up on the press sheet and counts sheets. Dieline options set bridges (nicks) and perforations.

Job ticket

Fill in client, quantity, material and finishing in the Job ticket — it prints in the PDF’s title block so the shop does not have to ask.
