FSSAI label checker for India

What must an Indian food label carry?
Under FSSAI 2020, regulation 5: the name of the food, the ingredients in descending order of weight, nutritional information per 100 g or 100 ml and per serve with % RDA, the veg or non-veg symbol, food additives, the name and complete address of the brand owner, the FSSAI logo with the 14-digit licence number, net quantity, the batch number, the date of manufacture or packing and the use-by or expiry date, the country of origin for imports, and instructions for use where needed. Legal Metrology adds the MRP inclusive of all taxes, the unit sale price and consumer care details.
The veg and non-veg symbols
A green filled circle in a green-outlined square for vegetarian food; a brown filled triangle in a brown-outlined square for non-vegetarian food — on the principal display panel, next to the name. The minimum size grows with the panel’s area (regulation 5(4)); in Drint the symbol is drawn at the size the panel needs. Mineral water, packaged drinking water, carbonated water, alcoholic drinks, liquid milk, milk powder and honey are exempt.
How tall must the net quantity be?
Legal Metrology rule 7: printed figures at least 1 mm high up to 200 g or 200 ml, 2 mm up to 500 g or 500 ml, and 4 mm above that (2, 4 and 6 mm when the figures are blown, moulded or embossed). Type the quantity and the figure height above to check it.
